My family and I have been to WDW the past two Christmas's to see the Holiday decorations. Your display is always the best. I know that I speak for everybody that has been to see it in thanking you for your generosity. We probably would of never saw this display if it had not been moved to WDW. Thanks Again, The Barnett Family

I have told many great stories about you and your family over the years. Though I only worked for your family for a short period of time. It was something that I will never forget. Richard McCormac is my first cousin and in the fall he would have me come down and help him and Dave out with the lights. I know that time has past since all of that, but it is an experience that I will never forget. In case you didn't know, Richard is a proud father and yes still the same old Richard. I truely believe that he will work himself to death. Cindy, well we don't keep tabs on her much. I will leave it at that. And Aunt Carol is doing fine these days. It took a lot out of her after Uncle Dick's passing. But the last couple of years, she seems to have gotten going again. It is great to see you all doing so well. Are you grandparents yet? Lisa and I took the kids down to Disney for the first time this year, we had a blast. We get up to Arkansas as much as we can. I have been in the oil industry now for 12yrs, Lisa is an 8th grade math teacher. So we can only get up there during the major holidays and summer. My kids love it, especially my daughter, she swears that she will be attending UA. Well gotta go....thanks

What a beautiful family and life God has blessed you with! Each year when my children were small, going to the Osborne's home was as much anticipated as going to see Santa! We still get to see your light displays from time to time and appreciate their beauty. Thanks for sharing and may you and yours continue to be richly blessed!

Dearest Osborne family! You have been blessed with many riches and share them the way you see fit. I'm very happy to say that I loved your christmas lights on Cantrell. I accidentally ran in to this sight while looking up homeless shelters for a elderly man that lives out back by the dumpsters behind the Dental clinic I work for. This breaks my heart not all homeless people choose this life style. This could be me. Could you see about helping with homeless shelter for men in Hot Springs AR where it is so needed. Tonight the temperature will be 15 degrees and I did all I could for this gentlemen but it's not enough! Thanks so much, Lori Hot Springs AR

Wow! What an awesome story. We try to go all out for lights as well, but nothing like what you've got. We live in a town of about 100,000 people, and we have one of the best displays in town. I'm studying pictures of your display to find things to add to ours. Awesome story about how you were "shut down". You did the right thing for that family even though it cost you big time. But like you said, new doors opened up out of all that mess. Keep up the good work. It is more appreciated than you can ever imagine.

Your lights are amazing!! I was just at Disney World a few days ago and had never seen anything like it!! My boyfriend is stationed in Iraq this Christmas, and I hadn't really found my spirit til I saw your display at Disey World. They were wondeful and I couldn't wait to come home and see what it was all about. While it breaks my heart the your own home state couldn't understand why you had all of your lights, I am thankful that I got to experience them. Keep up the good work. It's nice to see there are still people in this world who just want to make others happy. God Bless and Merry Christmas!!

I had heard about the christmas light display when I was a child and my parents never got to take me to see them. My parents werent able to do much in the way of leisure trips to any place. Luckily for the internet I got to catch a small glipse. I see the lights as inspiration to other people to have the spirit of Christmas. Its sad that your family had so much trouble out of something so grand. Hope your family has a Merry Christmas! Many blessings to you.

Thank-You All for sharing your blessings and joy! While I am a huge Razorback fan and always enjoy the games, I sure have missed the wonderful food that you all so graciously provided! Getting to the games early and having a wonderful 'home-cooked' meal was just as much a part of going to the games in L/R as being in the stands!!! Thank you for the wonderful gift of lights to the people of Memphis in Elvis Presley's name. I enjoyed the lights at Graceland the past two years and was dismayed that the plaza was not going to be lit. I'll never forget you guys. I was selling candles and Jewelry at the River Market in 2001 and living in Michigan with my daughter. You didn't know this at the time, but I didn't have gas money to get home. Mrs. Osborne bought a couple small candles and gave me a hundred dollar bill, refusing to accept change. I want to thank you for that. I live in Little Rock now. I still set up at the market every week. I miss you guys down there. I don't know what happened but when I moved back you were gone. On behalf of the outdoor vendors WE MISS YOU !!!! Incidently, I was wondering since you do so much for the community, do you consider making small business loans? I would like to keep doing what I'm doing, and I have two children I don't want to put in daycare. I would never want to accept anything without paying it back, I am not looking for a handout. I'm a hard worker who's just never had a break. If you wish to contact me my email is If Mrs. Osborne is in need of any jewelry, please allow me to make her something in return for what she did six years ago. Thank you Jen

I love the Christmas decorations and the way you spread cheer with your family to others. I pray you know the Lord and that He will continue to bless you and your family!

Hello! I love your website! A number of years ago I worked at the Dillard's store in the Hot Springs mall. I used to wait on Mitzy and Breezy (occasionally) mostly if they came to the cosmetics and fragrance department. I used to always look for deals in 'Realities' for Mitzy! :) I saw Breezy when she was still in high school! I worked there for 8 years. I now live in Texas....but I always have fond memories of your wonderful Christmas lights, fireworks, BBQ(thinking about it is making me hungry!) and ALWAYS your whole family's giving spirit. Very Very few people have that giving spirit. I know God will bless you as you have blessed others. Just wanted to thank you for all you do. Best wishes for Breezy in her jewelry business and all her endeavors. For me, being a stay-at-home mom is keeping me busy. When my daughter is older I plan on pursuing my art career doing portraits etc. Visit my Myspace and add me as a friend or message me. You can see me there! Link is below. I think what you do for the homeless is truly beautiful, but would you ever consider doing something for everyone in HUD housing in Little Rock. So many are so poor in the HUD housing how often they go without. Thank You for everything you do. Sincerely, Kate

I love your entire Webpage. My family and I love and appreciate what you and your family do for Little Rock, Arkansas, and America. We wish you lived in our neighborhood at Christmas time. I founded a Cultural Enrichment Club in my Church in 1988. One of the things we do on occasions is take the senior citizens on a tour of the city to see Christmas lights during the holidays, and the first sight we visit is the Osborne Home on Cantrell. You should see their faces light up. They are even excited by the traffic backed up during the holidays by people coming to see your light display. I am 65 years old, but I still enjoy doing this for seniors who are older than me. Keep up the good work, and may God bless you and your family to have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Mr Osbourne, I work for Sylvania (the lighting company)and although I sell to national accounts, I live in Little Rock. Our parent company, Siemens, formed an agremenent with Dsiney this year and are now their "Technology Compay". As part of that agreement, the official name at Disney (as you know) is "The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights....presented by Sylvania". I was sending out my company Christmas cards which include a great picture of the Lights along with your your story of generosity and love for Breezy - and thought I would just let you know. I will attempt to send you one of the cards, however I'm not certain that I know the correct address (although we drive past your home every day taking our sons to school). It is pretty neat to say that I live in the same town as the Osbornes when our company starts talking about this relationship. Merry Christmas!

Dear Osbourne Family, My family and I are Arkansas natives. We really enjoyed seeing the Christmas lights you would put up on I believe Cavannaugh Street in Little Rock. We were very disappointed when they made you stop putting them up. My youngest son, a 17 year old high school junior is very interested in attending the University of Arkansas. Hopefully, we can make that happen for him. He and his mother are on there way to northwest Arkansas right now with some friends. I have arranged for him to have a campus tour and am trying to set up an opportunity for him to talk to some of the coaches and players while his is in Fayetteville. I have also been trying to find tickets for him to be able to go to the LSU game, but no real luck so far. I worked for several years for the U of A System Administration office in Little Rock, so the assistant to president Sugg is trying to find some for me. I hope I can get a couple tickets for Zac and his mom. They would be so excited. We'll see what happens. Thanks again for the Christmas you did and still do spread around and for your support of the Razorbacks. It's great to see them having such a good year!

You inspire me! The christmas lights are awesome and much like you, I have grown my collection to the point where neighbors are complaining. I have moved 4 times in the last 10 years (this helps get away from the controversy). Thanks for all the great pictures, they give me ideas on ways to change up my displays. At only 25,000 lights I have a long way to go to catch up with my new idol. Continue the hard work, it is great. We can't wait to get to Disney this year.

I mite look at peoples pics, that's it. But I really enjoyed reading your site. I wonder what it was like to go 15 years in your marriage without children, then having one. What kind of changes did you feel? Thank You, Shawna L. Turner

Jennings and family, One of the City Year Corps Members was surfing the web looking for pictures of City Year Little Rock. We had no idea that you had included an entire gallery to the terrific barbeque your family hosted during our international convention, cyzygy. Thank you so much for putting smiles on our faces again today as we revisited that terrific event. I hope you stay connected to City Year. We are doing some great things for the community and making you proud. Yours in service, Peter S. Pickus Executive Director, City Year Little Rock

We miss you and miss hearing about you. We were neighbors. I live in Robinwood and have wondered where you moved to and if you had your Christmas lights up at your new home. You were so gracious to allow us and our friends from Prescott view your lights the last year you had them. It was a blessing that the neighbors filed the lawsuit because sooo many more people have been able to enjoy Christmas lights. Your community service has not gone unnoticed. Thank you. Liz

Hello Osbornes. Really enjoyed the food at the Library. Love your site. Great pics. Sure was disappointed there were none of my performance. I was the guy whom Suzy opened for...........Maybe next time. I like to get back to LR as often as possible. Was just there, Mother-in-law fell on Christmas eve and broke shoulder. She's at Baptist after a shoulder replacement. Anyway, Hope your holiday season is wonderful and have a happy new year. If y'all are ever in Nashville, let me know. God Bless....Chuck Gatlin

I grew up in Hot Springs and Little Rock. I still tell the wonderful story of what we called the "Red House" growing up and how you could see the glow in the sky from miles away. People will never understand how enomrous the display was unless they could see it for themselves. Please remember that your gift went to millions of kids even before it was sent to Disney Land. Thank you so much and if it's any consolation....I still remember.
